Professionalise and Upgrade the Waste and Recycling Industry

As an approved Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Public Training Organisation, WMRAS organises courses for Class A, B & C waste collectors. Since March 2012, WMRAS has trained over 1,700 drivers and crew from the industry. WMRAS Academy will continuously roll out more courses for frontline operations (e.g. sorters, operators), certificate, and other PME courses to be developed jointly with educational institutions and more.

Important notes on WMRAS Academy courses:

  • Payment mode(s) are PayNow to UEN T01SS0141J or Bank Transfer to Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore
  • WSQ courses completion requirements: Minimum 80% attendance in person and pass all required assessments. SSG has stopped issuing pdf e-certificates since 1st July 2024. Downloadable are OpenCerts files instead. You may download your OpenCerts files on MySkillsFuture.gov.sg

    • portal then authenticate the downloaded files using www.OpenCerts.io
